Information

LM35 is a precision centigrade temperature sensor. The output voltage is proportional to the temperature in degrees centigrade, if 300mV is measured the temperature is 30 degrees. This makes it impossible to detect temperatures below 0 degrees, making LM35 a suitable indoor sensor. If LM35 is to be used as en external sensor, meaning mounted outside the module, noise can be a factor. This can be eliminated using a RC-filter, consisting of a 1 µF capacitor and a 75 ohms resistor, between GND and output signal at source end. Also stabilizing capacitors should be installed at the sensor end.
